Scientific principles and design

Scientific principles and design unite the areas: sensory analysis, communication and electromagnetic protection, cyber security and data science as well as system technology. The focus is on the exchange of data and information as well as its protection throughout the entire armament procedure. The interaction of various systems is also an important factor for security.

Sensory analysis

In the areas of command and control, reconnaissance and surveillance, the Armed Forces need up-to-date operational pictures to be able to make decisions quickly in a defence situation. These are recorded using state-of-the-art sensors. Here, our experts test current and future sensor systems in the entire electromagnetic spectrum with a unique measurement infrastructure.

Communication and electromagnetic protection

A measuring antenna is located on the roof of a building, surrounded by other antennas.
Communication and C2 systems must provide information without delay to all command levels. Our experts ensure the military and statutory requirements for communication and C2 systems by means of evaluations and trials.

Cyber security and data science

Secure information tools and telecommunications are crucial for security organisations. Technological developments and threats in the information space, also known as cyber space, must therefore be closely monitored. Information security and the protective measures responsible for this must be ensured on a continuous basis.

System technology

Systems engineering is an interdisciplinary approach to the development and further development of complex technical systems, comprising the analysis, planning, design, implementation and maintenance of systems over their entire life cycle.
