Swiss Drone Security Forum 2026
On October 19, 2026, the Taskforce Drones will host the first edition of the Swiss Drone Security Forum at the Thun Military training area. The Security Forum brings together stakeholders from industry, research, the armed forces, administration, and politics. Its goal is to foster exchange within the Swiss drone sector, address common challenges, and develop concrete contributions to Switzerland’s future defense capabilities.

In the morning, various stakeholders from the drone ecosystem will provide insights into their perspectives, priorities, and current activities. In the afternoon, the focus will shift to active collaboration: thematic workshops will address specific questions and work towards tangible outcomes.
The event will be complemented by an exhibition where industry and research can showcase their technologies, competencies, and services, and connect with one another.
Participation is only possible with a confirmed registration. Registration must be completed using an official federal, work, or university email address ans is open until October 4, 2026. The event is held in German. The number of places is limited.
