Ballistics; detonics; weapons and ammunition trials

Individual protection is among the most important operating resources of military units and police forces. In addition, when ammunition and weapons systems are procured, functionality and reliability have the highest priority. As an independent and neutral competence centre we accurately and reliably assess the effectiveness of protective systems and the operational readiness of weapons systems and ammunition. Trials and technical investigations with up-to-date measuring technology are carried out in state of the art test infrastructure.

Ballistic and detonic protection trials

Accredited laboratory for protective clothing and light armour (bullet resistance and stab protection)
Assessment of protection levels of armoured vehicles and fortified buildings
Development of concepts for the protection of individuals, vehicles and buildings

Weapons and ammunition testing

Ballistic analysis (interior and exterior ballistics)
Analysis of ammunition effects and firing safety
Testing of ammunition and weapons systems
Assessing the effects of lethal and non-lethal systems
