Role specialisation and core comptence defence
With Armament Program 2005 nine systems from the sectors command, control and reconnaissance in all situations, logistics, protection and camouflage, mobility as well as effect of weapons are procured. These investments mainly focus on the most likely missions of today's armed forces: subsidiary support for civilian authorities, promotion of peace, and area defence. To a limited extent, the preservation of defence know-how is also taken into account.
