Web-based map viewing on mobile devices: A new approach for collaboration using an Open Source framework
The Swiss federal government in a joint initiative with cantons, cities, universities and private companies has enabled web-based viewing of spatial data on mobile devices. The solution is based on a publicly available open source framework. Geospatial information e.g. geo.admin.ch will be able to be directly viewed in smartphone browsers. |
