06.11.2009 TTE Tiger partial replacement – updated tenders submitted
On 6 November, the three manufacturer companies Dassault, EADS and Saab submitted their updated tenders for replacement of the Tiger aircraft TTE to the armasuisse within the deadline set. Extension of the original schedule necessitated an update of the tenders made. Apart from price increases, evaluations must also be able to take possible technical developments into account. For these reasons manufacturers were requested to update their bids.
15.06.2009 National Armament Director Jakob Baumann meets his foreign counterparts and representatives from the industry
From mid June until mid July Jakob Baumann will visit his counterparts in France, Italy, as well as in the US and Canada. The visits take place during the Paris Air Show Le Bourget and by invitation, and their purpose is to cultivate contacts. Furthermore talks with representatives from the industry are planned.
29.05.2009 New Fighter Aircraft Evaluation: Modules "Portfolio Swiss Industrial Program" and "Strategic Cooperation" have been submitted
The last two modules were delivered in due time to armasuisse by the three manufacturers EADS, Saab and Dassault. They complete the second offer for the New Fighter Aircraft (NFA) evaluation, which was submitted on 17 April 2009.
17.04.2009 Partial Tiger Replacement: Second offer handed over to armasuisse
On 17 April 2009 the three manufacturers EADS, Saab and Dassault handed over their second offer for the partial F-5 Tiger replacement to armasuisse in due time.
